Christ Is the Redeemer is a mobile tent ministry that has travelled around within Mexico for over 38 years. Our first entry into Mexico was on March 7, 1987.
Through the years we have learned that as far as we focus on Jesus, all problems and difficulties are under control and we have all the power by God's grace to overcome it all.
But when we take our eyes off Jesus, all the problems and difficulties will become like giants. They will take over and everything will become hard and negative. So let's focus on Jesus and let's go on with Him (Hebrews 12:1-2).
Renato Gaglione, as founder & director of Christ Is The Redeemer, has spent the last 42+ years as a Christian. When Renato got saved, he spent the first year of his new life in Christ in the local church in his hometown of Benevento, Italy.
Then his missionary life started 41 years ago in Europe, then Mexico, and at times in Central America, and often he does missionary trips in the U.S.A.
As we all know, Mexico is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Besides that, CITR is still going on. Looking back we can only say: Ebenezer.
We do not feel that we are special or extraordinary people. But we know that God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary tasks for His Glory and for the salvation of souls.
Our ministry activities include:
- Tent crusades from city to city, town to town, village by village, house by house.
- Church planting, church visiting, making disciples,
- To make the long story short: by doing Mark 16:15 and Matthew 28:18-20
We are totally convinced that the Sacrifice of Jesus and obedience to God’s Word are the only way to God, to salvation, and to eternal life.
We strongly reject every alteration or mutilation to God’s Word, (Revelation 22: 18-19)
It is not God that has to line up to the humankind, but it is humankind that must line up to God.
